Do you know who I am? I am a Sahrawi. The land to which I refer is what is known today as the non-self-governing territory ofWestern Sahara. My country was colonized by the Spanish and the French between 1884 and 1975, divided in two and occupied by Moroccan and Mauritanian forces thereafter, and has been ruled exclusively by the Kingdom of Morocco from 1979 until the present.

Expulsan del congreso y detienen a seis jóvenes prosaharauis

La población española vuelve a actuar en favor de los derechos del pueblo saharaui…

Antes de la votación en el Congreso en la que se ha acordado “condenar” la violencia en el desalojo en el campamento de El Aaiún, el presidente de la Cámara, José Bono, ha expulsado de la tribuna de invitados a varias personas que han prorrumpido en gritos a favor del Sáhara.

6 compañeros han sido detenidos y expulsados del congreso de los diputados: Guillermo Toledo, H.M., J.G., J.C., R.C. y F.B.

Ahora, el abogado, Erlantz Ibarrondo y los detenidos declarán sobre las 17 en punto y les dejarían en libertad sobre las 19 horas si todo sale bien, en caso contrario pasarían a disposición judicial y por tanto pasarían la noche en comisaria y mañana les liberarían a mediodía. Han expresado su apoyo al pueblo saharaui y se les detiene para tomar sus datos y esclarecer si hubieran cometido undelito de “alteración grave del orden público”, que está castigado con una pena de seis meses a un año de prisión.
